New York State law only permits us to accept the return of goods that are defective; for such returns we can offer a replacement of the same item, or we can refund a credit card, or we can issue a store credit.

Very rarely, a wine which is sold at retail will be spoiled.  While many precautions are taken to prevent this, it remains a risk to both buyers and purveyors.  Spoilage includes corked wine, oxidized wine, volatile acidity, and sulfuric components.  These imperfections may be noticed visually, by smell, and finally by taste.  If you ever run into any of these issues please replace the cork and return the bottle for an exchange or refund. We ask that you re-cork the wine not as a honesty test, but so that we may use the remaining wine as evidence to determine the cause of the spoilage.
